Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles. Psalm 25:22

Dear Partners,

On November 14, 2023, I underlined the above verse in my Bible, in red, and noted the date with the words written, “Hamas War” beside it. Recently, in my devotional time, the Lord once again led me to this verse before my prayer time with Him.

Israel has been at war for more than 10 months. We have been very busy trying to catch up with the deliveries to our Adoption Program recipients as well as to the hundreds of new immigrants who have come into Israel during the war. Please pray for the recent immigrants to Israel.

HELPING THE FAMILY OF AMINA

Months ago, when Iran attacked Israel with over three hundred missiles, a little 7-year-old Bedouin girl, Amina, was the only casualty of the attack when she was struck in the head by a piece of a missile which fell on her home in the desert, just outside the town of Arad in the southern mountains of Israel. Although the doctors did not expect her to live, after months in the hospital and much of that time in a coma, Amina is now out of the hospital and is in a special rehabilitation facility. By God’s grace, our ministry has adopted her family, and on a recent visit, I gave her father, Muhammed, a Bible translated into Arabic. He thanked me for this special gift. Please continue to pray for Amina and her family as she recuperates.

MIDDLE SCHOOL PROJECT IN THE NORTH OF ISRAEL

Thanks to the generous gifts from donors for the war relief effort, we gave significant financial assistance to a middle school for students from displaced families in the north of Israel to continue their education this coming fall, despite the interruption of their studies caused by the war. Their school, which was on a Kibbutz in the north near the Lebanese border, was closed after Hezbollah rockets forced the families to leave their homes and temporarily settle in towns further south of the border.

Thankfully, another Kibbutz which is not in harm’s way, has offered them a building that needs major refurbishing. They will be able to use it until the war is over, and it will accommodate the more than 400 students between the ages of 12-14 years old as they matriculate for the 2024-2025 school year. Please pray for Michal Gal, the principal of this privately funded school as they prepare for the 2024-2025 school year!

THANK YOU!

Thank you for your faithful prayer and financial support for the Israel Ministry Fund. Your love for the Lord and for Israel is helping us to touch the lives of literally thousands of Israeli families as we share the love of Christ through your gifts and testimonies that will, prayerfully, lead some of them to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ! Without your help, we could not do what we are doing for the Lord and His chosen people. Thank you! Please continue to pray for us!

For the Messiah,

About IBJM

IBJM was founded in 1949 by Dr. Jacob Gartenhaus. Brought up in an Orthodox Jewish home in Austria, he moved to New York City in his early twenties where he trusted Jesus as Messiah and Savior after reading Isaiah 53.

Persecuted and beaten by friends and forsaken by his family, the young Gartenhaus was led by God to become an ambassador to his own people, establishing the IBJM ministry.
