New York City Summer Evangelistic Outreach

Spreading the Good News

The New York metro area is home to approximately 1.7 million Jewish people. Tragically, this city has been largely neglected as a 21st-century mission field.

This summer, you have a unique opportunity to help spread the good news of the gospel of Jesus the Messiah to God’s chosen people and others from nearly every nation.

As part of our team, you will distribute literature and share your faith in bustling city neighborhoods. This will be an occasion to have a spiritual impact on hundreds of people during this memorable week.

Evangelism Training

We are committed to equipping you to have an effective outreach during this exciting week. Experienced workers will instruct you on how to approach and share the gospel with Jewish people as you invite them to “Thank God for Israel” Sunday services held at local Bible-believing churches.

About IBJM

IBJM was founded in 1949 by Dr. Jacob Gartenhaus. Brought up in an Orthodox Jewish home in Austria, he moved to New York City in his early twenties where he trusted Jesus as Messiah and Savior after reading Isaiah 53.

Persecuted and beaten by friends and forsaken by his family, the young Gartenhaus was led by God to become an ambassador to his own people, establishing the IBJM ministry.
